Research Refresher: Graduate Students In-Person
Overview of library resources, services and programs for Mason graduate students. Acquaints students with the Mason Libraries, library.gmu.edu, catalogs, ejournal finder, database portal, new research resources, WRLC, interlibrary loan, InfoGuides, lynda.gmu.edu, UDTS, workshops, DWRs, etc. Overview of services and programs covered include subject librarians, data and GIS services, open access publishing fund, etc. Fundamentals of boolean searching, closely reading a bibliographic record, subject headings, etc. are also reviewed.
