Grant Development: A Process Primer for Graduate Students + Faculty In-Person

Mercer Library and University Life at the Science and Technology Campus are hosting Grant Development: A Process Primer for Graduate Students + Faculty. This workshop, geared to graduate students and early career faculty, will provide an overview of the grant development process as well as an open Q&A with University Professor Dr. June P. Tangney and Associate Professor Dr. Keith D. Renshaw from the Department of Psychology. Dr. Tangney and Dr. Renshaw have received funding for their research from major federal funders including the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and the Department of Defense. They have also mentored several students in securing individual fellowship funding from the National Institutes of Health. The workshop will explore the full cycle of grant development from evolving an idea into a project, locating appropriate funders, writing the application, and what to expect during the review process. Lunch Provided!
