CartoDB: Collecting and Visualizing Twitter Data In-Person
Do you want to explore data generated from social media activities by a certain topic? This workshop introduces how to collect geo-tagged Twitter data (non-traditional geodata) for a certain topic and visualize the data using CartoDB, online mapping platform. It will cover basic and common sql statements to mind your retrieved datasets and ways to create a map.
Location: 4607 Data Service Lab in Fenwick Library.
