Intermediate GIS In-Person

This workshop builds upon the skills obtained in the libraries’ Introductory GIS workshop and learn more common geospatial analysis skills to do your research.

Topics include: Gecoding of addresses data (converting text data into spatial data), georeferencing, and common spatial analysis tools in ArcGIS such as clip, buffer, intersect, and dissolve and spatial join.

Location: 2701 (Digital Scholarship Center, Room A) in Fenwick Library 

Anyone who gained basic knowledge and skills obtained from the libraries’ Introductory GIS workshop is welcome.
