LaTeX is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. This workshop is an introduction for new users. Topics will include:

  • Why use LaTeX over Microsoft Word or other text editors
  • Understanding the basic structure of a LaTeX document
  • Using templates to begin creating documents
  • Resources for continued learning and help
