Artists' Book Open House In-Person
What kind of book has no pages, no spine, or no cover?
Special Collections Research Center is hosting “That's Not a Book!,” our first artists' book open house of the fall season. Join us to see some of the unusual and hard-to-classify objects in the artists' book collection at Mason, and to challenge your notions of what, exactly, makes a book.
Visitors will have an opportunity for hands-on interaction with these materials, and to learn how Mason students and researchers can use these materials as a source of visual, formal, and thematic inspiration.
