LaTeX Workshops on Canvas Online

Are you not around during the summer when the Zoom LaTeX Workshops occur? Do you like to work at your own pace? Try the LaTeX Workshop online.

This is a self-enroll, asynchronous, non-credit mini-course, so you can self-pace. However, it's better if you complete it within a semester.

It will teach you to create a document with LaTeX from start to finish. There are seven modules, but only three are required. If you complete module 2, 3, and 7, you receive a certificate of completion. The modules are

  1. Finding, Installing and Using LaTeX Software (optional)
  2. Using Document Classes and Packages Preamble and Document Structure (required)
  3. Writing a LaTeX Article - The Basics (required)
  4. Writing a LaTeX Article - Using Tables (optional)
  5. Writing a LaTeX Article - Embedding Figures (optional)
  6. Writing Formulas for a LaTeX Article Online (optional)
  7. Using BibTeX (required)
