Library of Congress Research Visit and Tour In-Person
Join Policy and Government Librarian Lorena Jordan for a research visit and brief to tour the beautiful and illustrious Library of Congress in Capitol Hill.
Enjoy a free research services orientation, and how to conduct research there yourself! After learning what's available to use, We will take a brief guided tour by the staff of this venerable institution--the largest library in the world--and learn more about its main reading room and collections! Research focus will be on resources for policy and government available
This event is limited to 15 participants. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration or contact the organizer Lorena jordan to let her know that she can release the space to someone on the wait list.
Plan to spend up to 1.5 hours learning how to perform general library research, and Library of Congress location research. The tour is approximately 30 minutes, including behind the scenes access to the Main Reading Room.
We will meet outside the James Madison Building at the 1st St. SE and C St. SE entrance--across the street from the Capitol South Metro Station at 12:15 pm as the tour will begin promptly at 1 pm.
