Using GenAI for Teaching and Research (intro) Online

This workshop focuses on how to use Generative AI in teaching and learning with hands-on activities. It also includes how to write good prompts for better outcomes and how to critically evaluate AI-generated outcomes.  

This workshop will be led by Hye Jung Choi, a second-year master's student in the Learning Technology in Schools program at the College of Education and Human Development. She also serves as a professional graduate assistant for the social sciences team at Mason Square Library. Prior to attending George Mason University, she acquired diverse teaching experiences across K-12 informal learning environments and higher education, instructing in English, Korean, religion, and educational foundations within a teacher education program. With a background in educational technology, she aspires to transition into instructional design, leveraging her expertise to enhance learning experiences.
