ArtSpark: A Creative Collaboration Challenge 

Where creative chaos meets artistic chemistry.

Introducing the ArtSpark Creative Collaboration Challenge — a one-of-a-kind event where artists, makers, crafters, and performers are randomly paired with someone from a completely different discipline to create a brand-new piece of collaborative art. Think: a sculptor + a dancer. A poet + a painter. A photographer + a puppeteer. Enjoy tasty autumn treats and warm cider as you make connections and expand your artistic horizons. 

And here’s the twist: every pair must incorporate a surprise library resource revealed on the day of the event.  

Its Taskmaster meets an artistic blind date! 

How It Works: 

1. Register at least one week ahead of time so we can match you with your creative opposite. 

2. Chat with your partner before the event to brainstorm your concept. 

3. Bring whatever materials you typically use — we’ll supply some extra craft supplies just in case. 

4. Come to the event and create your collaborative masterpiece, incorporating the surprise library resource.  

5. All works will be showcased on the library’s Instagram. 

6. One lucky pair will win a prize for best piece of art that embraces the rules of the challenge.
