Photoshop Level 1 In-Person

Photoshop is a software that allows you to edit and retouch a photo or image to improve or enhance the overall appearance. We will learn how to arrange and customize your workspace, crop and straighten an image, retouch the image by duplicating or removing unwanted objects, change the brightness and color tone of the image, and understand different formats to save the file. The goal of this workshop is for students to demonstrate how to utilize tools panel and workspace for basic photo corrections.

Students will demonstrate how to:

  • Arrange and customize your workspace;
  • crop and straighten an image;
  • use Spot Healing Brush and Healing Brush to retouch part of the image;
  • use Patch tool and Clone Stamp to remove or replace objects;
  • use Adjustments panel to change Brightness/Contrast;
  • use Dodge/Burn tool; 
  • add effects using Adjustments panel;
  • merge/flatten layers;
  • apply Smart Filters on layers;
  • and understand different formats to save the file.
