LaTeX is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. This workshop is an introduction for new users. Topics will include: Why you would use LaTeX over Microsoft Word or other text editors; understanding the basic structure of a LaTeX document; using templates to begin creating documents; resources for continued learning and help.
