Mason Libraries Research + Scholarship Showacse In-Person
The Mason Libraries Professional Development Committee announces a Research + Scholarship Showcase, highlighting the work of library faculty and staff members.
Our colleagues are working on some truly interesting, innovative, and informative research and scholarship projects covering the gamut of librarianship and technology. This showcase is a chance to both celebrate and learn from what’s going on right here at Mason Libraries.
The format is:
• 45 minute lighting round presentation of individuals [who have received research leave during the past two years OR who are interested in presenting], followed by the opportunity to talk with these library faculty and staff, and others who have been working on other research and scholarship through poster presentations
• “Poster presentations” or Poster + (present an artifact, book, etc.) 60 minute session with those with research/scholarship work (from the last two years) situated around the Reading Room so people can come up and ask questions/talk to the presenters
This event is open to all, and students are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
We look forward to celebrating Mason Libraries Research + Scholarship with you!
