Introduction to GIS and ArcGIS Online Basics Online
Learn fundamental concepts of GIS, geospatial data, and basic skills in mapping with ArcGIS Online, a cloud-based mapping application. In this session, you will experience how to get started with the software yourself to create and share web maps, data, and other resources throughout Mason organization. A highlight of online geospatial data resources available and information on geospatial software access at Mason will also be included.
A zoom link will be sent out to the registrants three days before the workshop along with other necessary information to conduct the in-class hands-on exercises.
Prerequisites: none. Anyone is welcome.
