Research Your Way to an A: How to Understand Scholarly Articles – Learning Services Online
Reading scholarly articles is very different from reading textbook chapters. Scholarly articles are written for experts in that discipline, they contain a lot of specialized language (jargon) and are structured differently. During this session we will discuss the types of scholarly articles and the purposes for reading them. In addition, we will talk about how scholarly articles are structured and what to look for when reading them.
