Disseration Writer Rooms offer short-term reservable desks in a shared space. There are two desks in each room - one marked "A" and another marked "B", each with a power strip available. While there are drawers and shelves available in the space, storage of study materials is prohibited due to the rooms not being secure. If you wish to have a study space where your belongings can be stored, please reserve a Graduate Study Carrel.
Any currently registered graduate student may reserve a desk in a Dissertation Writers Room. Desks may be reserved for up to 45 days at a time, with a default reservation of 14 days. Your status at the University will be verified after your reservation is confirmed. If it is discovered that you placed a reservation and you are not a Graduate Student, your reservation WILL BE CANCELLED.
Dissertation Writers Rooms are subject to all relevant Libraries policies, including those for group study spaces. The Libraries reserve the right to alter or cancel reservations as needed, due to adjustments in library operations or failure to follow library policies.

- Then use the drop down menu at the bottom of this page to select the DURATION of your reservation. You can reserve a desk up to 45 days at a time, but only if the desk is available for that long. The default duration of a desk is 14 days.
- After you made your selection, click SUBMIT TIMES at the bottom of the page, then follow the instructions of the next page.
